When you receive mental health or substance use disorder (SUD) services, your rights are protected by many Federal and State Laws. 

If you believe that your rights have been violated, you should tell the Recipient Rights Officer at the location where you are receiving services.  You may file a Recipient Rights complaint any time if you think staff violated your rights
